History

Straka Johnson Architects, P.C. has been incorporating sustainable concepts of design into our work since the 1980’s. From the firm’s inception, sustainability has been a company priority. We incorporate sustainable practices and technology into our designs as much as possible. We have tested, embraced and continue to research the constantly evolving industry of green products and installations. We have extensive experience in both passive and active approaches to sustainable design and advocate their use throughout our work. We promote extensive use of photovoltaic systems and other innovative strategies. The firm has completed over 80 geothermal projects and counting. As natural resources continue to deplete and energy costs continue to increase it is our responsibility as Architects to provide our future and current clients with energy efficient, low-impact, sustainable designs. This is what we plan on continuing to provide now and into the future.
